    Cool The 60s & 70s Thread

    Since I don't feel like making two separate threads. I decided to make one single thread for both decades. It's just like the previous threads, but it's all about the 60s and 70s.
    Note: Shots may not by entirely accurate
    NP's North Coast Limited in the dead of winter. Circa January, 1960

    Union Pacific #844 pulling an excursion across the snowy landscape. Circa November, 1961. One year before she was renumbered to 8444

    UP Gas Turbine Electric #18A leading a long train of mixed freight. Circa June, 1965

    Santa Fe's combined Super Chief/El Capitan departing LAUPT. Circa September, 1966

    The early days of Amtrak. Three SP F7s lead the San Francisco Zephyr over Donner Pass. Circa April, 1972

    SP #4449 pulling the American Freedom Train through the Mojave Desert. Circa November, 1975.

    wooohooo, why did you take delete your other GG-1 pic and bump your thread with this one? Why not just post this pic instead of deleting your other post?

    Yeah. Just post the new pic. No reason to delete and bump or whatever.

    The NH Geeps came from the GP7/GP9 set from BLW/ZT.
