    Default How to find x, y & z

    Hi
I want to place lights on a loco and need to know the x,y & z coordininates of the loco lights to make changes to the .eng file. I tried guessing (trial & error) but that will take a really long time. I tried Shape Viewer but no luck. I have TSM but that doesn't work on .s files. Does anyone have any ideas?

    Thanks
    Ron

Using Shape Viewer and one of several tools loaded "as second shape", you can move the second Object to the place of your lights, then write down the coordinates for use in the engine file.

One such tool is called "Positioning Tool", in the file library as "PosTool.zip"

I made a small lite shape, which uses the liteglow.ace found in the global folder (I think).lite.zip Use it with the Second Shape function of RouteRiter.
