    Default RIP Dean Freytag

    One of the most well known industrial based model railroaders & authors Dean Freytag passed away christmas night, dean was a frequent contributor to Model Railroader Magazine and a pioneer steel industry modeler as well as authoring books on modeling the steel industry.

    Oh no. That's tragic. He was a source of inspiration when it comes to modeling industrial scenes. "The Cyclopedia of Industrial Modeling," one of his works, is a constant read on my book shelf. Dean will truly be missed.
