The lights on these engines need to be fixed ... or is that just OR ? Apart from that they look good, though you've chosen two of the oldest and most crappy models.

It's probably just OR - engine lights have proved hard to get lined up the same as in MSTS, so they're expected to be out of alignment currently.

    Nice shots!

If you would like to temporarily fix those headlights, just change the radius values of the headlights in the .eng files to 0.5.

    1) Not an "or", but an "and": Yes, the lights need to be fixed and it is because I am running them in OR (but I'm happy with them anyway).

    2) Thanks; I think they look good too.

    3) Please feel free to offer suggestions for less crappy models.

    Hi Eric,

Thanks for commenting. I read, with great interest, the thread over in the OR Discussion forum in which you posted the results of your experiments, and your empirical finding that in OR, headlight POSITION seems somehow linked to the RADIUS parameter. I will be experimenting this weekend.

    This would be my suggestion:

But of course there are many other real heavy-duty locos on trainsim.ru ...

Nice. But the square/boxy ones don't really appeal to me.

I reckon crap, like lots of other things, is in the eye of the beholder.

    In any case, have fun.

Seems pretty rude. I think the models are just fine.

The models are great, in fact -- my comment was directed at their power and towing ability.
