    Hi,

So what's new in this field ? I mean, do we have any tools to merge routes ?

I ask this because there is really a lack in RW for route creators. In my case, I've tried to use the tools but I finally was in trouble when the 2013 upgrade came !

I need this kind of tool in order to share with other creator the improvements of the route... Am I the only one in this case ? No possibility to have concurrent developpement in this case ? I can't believe it !

Some clues to go on ? Nothing based on xml tools to analyse and finally merge things ? I'm not a specialist but some of you, perhaps ?

Routes can not be merged, stitched together, in TS-2013 for various reasons, Mike Simpson can explain better than I could !

Your Paris Gare Saint-Lazare route is running alright in the latest version of TS-2013, albeit waiting for some missing shapes

Other route and objects for creators have no problems with it !

No it is NOT Like that
The route Torino Genova rel 3.0 in section from "Torno Porta Nuova" to "Torino Lingotto" and from "Villanova d'asti" to "Baldicchieri" and was made by me, (Claudio1964)
The section from "Torino - Sangone" to "Pinerolo Torre Pellice" was made by mu friends Luca (Sibbi3) and now (one year) of the version 3.0 of Torino Genova units is used successfully by thousands of users all over the world!!

Are you saying that you and Luca have successfully merged 2 routes, their individual Tracks.bin files having been merged into one ?

If that was the case then some of us route builders / hackers would appreciate you telling us how you did it !

    Post Clarification

    Yes, of course

Precise that all routes have the starting point in common

this is the link of the route Torino Sangone:

    http://www.aln668gtt.it/index.php?op...=40&Itemid=104

this is the link of the route Torino Genova

    http://www.rotabili-italiani.org/sit...ari-reali.html

version 2.0 is not united with the Torino Sangone

The new route Torino Genova 3.0 is the 2.0 attached with Torino Sangone

Download, install and try to see for yourself!!

Not only in Italy friend Fabio is implementing the "shared project" "Progetto condiviso" with 4 other friends!

    find all here:

The tools used are the Merge Route that you will always find here:

Had a go downloading and expanding the Torino Sangone ZIP and am being told "Unexpected End of Archive".

Trying to install V.2 of the Torino Genova am being told that it's V.1 has to be installed first and starting to download it would take 2 hours to do.

Sorry, but that is to much hassle just to check whether this "RW Merge Route.exe" can do the job merging the 2 Tracks, bin files into a new one for use by the 2 merged into one routes.

Trying to download the merged V.3 to see what it looks like would take almost 4 hours and before I let it run after I have gone to be would like to know whether it comes complete with all the assets used by it because if it does not will have to give it a miss !

Watching TV before going to bed I started the V.3 download and after telling me again that it would take about 4 hours to download suddenly terminated after about an hour and running it's EXE resulted in what is shown below.

That at night time when the Internet is less busy in Europe !

No problem, I can do with MSTSBin what no other Train Simulator can do, merge routes with TSUtils and replace tracks with DynaTrax:
    http://www.otto-wipfel.co.uk/db-tracks-routes
and can apply my preferences to TS-2013 as shown in some of my threads, as can Bremen and do not need anything else from RS.com !

Do as you prefer, other alternative for download find them here:

    http://www.amicitreni.org/download/c...1e86d03645e833

The problem you reported is due to an interruption of the download and resume you should delete the temporary Internet files, and save the file as giving it a different name.

Thanks for the links and am going to have another try !

As a rule I always delete all temporary Internet files and not required cookies after every Internet session !
