    Default hand held base radio microphone for online

    hi i was wondering if there is any way to take a base station mic and convert it to be used it msts?

    something like this

    looking at the price of these the are not that expensive

    What do you mean? So long as you have compatible inputs, a microphone is a microphone is a microphone.

    MSTS doesn't use microphones. What do you mean by "...to be used with MSTS"?

    Upon closer inspection that mic has both 1/4" and 1/8" jacks. It would probably work just fine, but why bother when you can get little clip-on mics from Radio Shack or thereabouts for less? You don't need an SM7 or e22s to talk to people online.

    I use a Railroad Telephone Componets when I do our mylti-player sessions. It works amazing.

    That is what mine looks like. The PTT button also works when it is pressed.

    That's what I was guessing, but I was checking for clarification from him. MSTS itself does not require a microphone, but multiplayer does.

    It looks like it has an XLR plug.
