Changing sounds for German wagons

I am attempting to put Krellnut's wagon sounds into the German wagons, but since the stuff there is in German, I am not sure what files to change.

I should say the reason I posed this question here, is the the RW General forum wasn't accepting posts. So there is no way to change the German wagon sounds?

You should be able to use my sounds. Make a copy of the wagon freight XML, and rename it the same as the German XML, and it should work. Leave all the sounds where they are, the game will look for them.

Hi Krell, is it the wagon freight proxy.xml that I change? I tried that but there was no change in the sounds.

I should note that I am not using your recent sound pack, I am using the ones that have to have the Chinese sound pack installed.

I don't get it, your first post said you were trying to get my sounds to work, but now you say your using the Chinese pack. If your using the Chinese pack, then you'll have to make a copy of there XML, and rename it to suit.

Sorry, got things mixed up, I did try making a copy from the Chinese sound pack and it didn't work, figures lol, these things never seem to work the first time.
