Merging Shape files

I wanted to merge 2 existing FA's & I just want to ask how I could possibly do that?

Assuming, (which is dangerous to do), that both FAs were made in the same modelling software, you need to install and use that. You also need to obtain the original work files from whoever made the FAs in order to do the merge.

If they were made in different programs then it becomes much more difficult to do, if not impossible. Might just be easier to make your own FA.

Is it possible to actually copy and past from one shape file to another and modify it manually?
Is it ever worth it?
