These are reskins of the 3dtrains Coaster Cars and when I receive permission from Marc Nelson I will release these to the file library.

From his screenshots, doesn't look like they are touching the wires at all, looks like they have enough clearence room.

Living in the DC area, I know these bi-levels aren't fictional. I see them all the time on the Brunswick and Camden lines (Diesel), and the Penn line (elec). Anyway, if they didn't work on the Pen line due to the wires, they'd still work on the Camden and Brunswick lines, which they do, so they aren't fictional. I will say this however, they aren't Bombardier, but, I think Kawasaki. From what I can find, MARC may be geeting some Bombardier's from VRE, but haven't seen them in MARC paint. There is more then enough room under the wires for Bi-Levels on the NEC.

Here we go again.. Obviously they are fictional. Marc does not have Bombardier bi-levels period. They do however have the wire clearance to operate them. If they did not VRE would have not operated Sound Transit train sets into Union. Hate to burst your bubble.

But soon hopefully they will and if not somebody will and I pray it is not me be but, I'm starting to feel getting a infraction to check you is worth the punishment. You are treading on thin ice. Virginia Railway Express can run these cars into Union Station, but they specifically modified the tunnel under Union Station and made other changes to make it work. As for the rest of the corridor, Amtrak did consider running Superliners from Philadelphia. The plan was dropped, but low level doors are a bigger issue. I recall that the Superliners fit, but there was some concern that they were too close to the wires. In fact the B&O and later Amtrak banned passengers from the upper level of the dome car of the Capital Limited in Washington DC because of the same concern.

While they have a similar floor plan, they are lower in profile specifically to fit into the northeast corridor clearance envelope. You can compare them to cars run by MBTA from the same builder, which are noticeably taller.

Lastly, we can make a mistake or use language differently and it is OK. We have widely different levels of railroad knowledge on these forums and that is OK. Everyone welcome. We can calmly make a correction. Phrases like "You need to put yourself in check" are not helpful. They imply disdain and are taken as personal attacks. Even if you didn't mean it (I hope you didn't).

I know but I said Bombardier Bi-levels totally different companies if I right. And in the Union area the Bi-levels are fine and out to Baltimore I assume correctly. They have enough clearance.

Now on your second statement...
MP36 has ran rapid like a mad dog threw the forums posting rude and disrespect comments all over. He has been ask nicely to stop numerous times more than I can count (ran out of toes and fingers) but has not gotten the picture. So, I'm fed up as well as a lot of the other forums members. Putting someone in check (In my terms) means to be told off in more understandable words. No violence or anything he just need to be check and understand that what he does ("Diarrhea at the keyboard..."-Anthony Woods) is not ok and will never be ok. Treat others the way you would like to be treated. And I'm not mad at you or do I have any beef with you and I understand were you are coming from but you need to see were I'm coming from as the same. On the other side he has made it onto my block list so it should not be a problem anymore. But lets not get this guys thread locked and continue on what it was meant for.


Like you idea of the cars if released I might tweak them a little if you do not mind.
