Thread: Which Routes Would You Love to Have?

I'm not listing anything I want to have, because if I want it, I build it myself or with a team... hence Packerland (Milwaukee-Green Bay-other points north) and the CNW Harvard...

Already 70% done, give or take a few miles. The Harvard Sub is done (90 miles) from Chicago-Janesville, and it's just a matter of time before I finish the last 36 miles via Evansville... unless of course you were looking for the long way of getting there via MKE.

I am toying with doing parts of the Gila Sub (Tucson-Gila Bend, possibly including the Coolidge/Florence/Phoenix branches). It's a lower priority than my two CNW routes already in various stages of release/work, but maybe I'll get fed up with the Midwest long enough to throw down some track...

Yes...I've noticed that. Looking forward to the whole thing. Not necessary to go via MKE but that'd be nice too !! And.....if it continued all the way to MSP/DLH, that'd be REALLY nice. We could run all the "400s".

One route I'd love to build is the B&O CT&V Sub from Cleveland to Canton, more commonly known as the Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad. I'd also like to do the Akron, Ohio area from 1930-1990. B&O, Erie, AC&Y, PRR, and all the industrial lines serving all the rubber industries here in the Rubber City. Would a full-blown re-creation of the Nickel Plate Road be too much to ask?

Another route I'd like to see would be the CSX Metropolitan and Cumberland subs from D.C. at least as far west as Martinsburg WV

Oh i'd love to see this. All I've seen were a few pic of the line running through Sterling.

The New Haven Railroad, in it's entirety, would include 4 track electrified commuter territory, electrified heavy freight action (New Haven to da Bronx), flagship electric to steam/diesel mainline passenger service (NYC to Springfield/Boston), trunk line freight (Boston/New Haven to Maybrook), all in a geographic area that is fairly compact.

    Any takers????

I'd love to see the NS Harrisburg Line between Reading and Harrisburg, PA (my home rails) in the modern era. Would also like to see the CP transcon from Kamloops to Vancouver finished.

I would love to see the New York 3rd Avenue Elevated circa 1955, just before demolition.
