Question Amtrak Liveries And Bombardier Cars

I'm curious... I know that Amtrak uses those lozenge shaped Bombardier bi-levels in California with various paint schemes, but does Amtrak use those same style coaches elsewhere on the system? I'm already aware of the more rectangular bi-levels mind you. Also, do Go Transit passenger stock ever cross the border into the US? Expert advice welome

GO Transit cars normally would not cross the border into the US on a regular basis, they are used for commuter service in and around Toronto, Ontario.... that said, several cars have been leased to various American commuter services for testing and leased while waiting for their own cars to be delivered.

    Hopes this helps,

    Paul :-)

Amtrak does not use Bombardier bilevels-you may be thinking of Metrolink and Caltrain. The Alstom bilevels (California Cars) are not used anywhere else in revenue service.
Writer and Wolverine, among other things.
