Well on that thread I posted my computer specs and someone said the game is going to be like a slide show. Since you already spent the money on the system and the route is free why don't you install the route and find out for yourself?

I have to agree with Vince, the only way to find out is to try it yourself.

Okay. I hope you do see the logic in my answer to you.

Important! Be sure to read the instructions for installing MSTS on your system per the turorial at the Steam4Me site or you will have endless troubles with MSTS add-on's.

Pay special attention to useless programs running in the background on your machine. They will impact MSTS frame rates AND lag!

A program like End-It-All can shut these programs (which have nothing to do with MSTS) down and get better performance.
It ain't gonna' happen unless you take charge of your system. Otherwise, IT runs YOU!

    Enjoy!

Your also running intel graphics be careful to set these up carefully and dont duplicate settings with exe cmds like anisoptric and fxaa etc. Check the bios to and make sure any cpu throttling is turned off.

Why don't you LOOK at the tutorial and find out the answer yourself?

You're going to need to follow the tutorial anyway so a read through will help you understand.
If you don't you will end up as a loser . . . you don't want that do you?

Wife runs MSTS on a stock HP G-62 Laptop. Very good frame rates on Austin Yoders Horseshoe Curve route.
Laptop startup is limited to only necessary running background programs.

This is why asking someone "will I get good frames on some such and such machine?" makes no sense at all.
Think about it . . . Every machine is different and is possibly customized by the user is why!

Wifes laptop got lousy frames (8-10 on HC route) when no tweaking was done on background running programs.
When I prevented startup of stuff like QuickTimeTask, Adobe, desktop 'managers' and other such junk there was a great performance increase.

If you know how to tweak then you have a chance with getting good performance on a store bought machine because they come loaded with tons of useless crapware.
