Lightbulb Creating the Southern Railway Route

    Hi Friends,
As far now, our pals who have created the various routes in the Indian Northern ,Western and Eastern Railways, and what about the Southern Railway, I am interested in creating the southern railway routes. i know this is not a simple and easy one, without the team work it cant be established,

As this is my Invitation-cum-Requisition that who are all willing to create the southern railway route are requested to post thier ideas and suggestions. which would be appreciated,

    Cheers and Regards

It's about time some tracks are laid down in South India, in MSTS....

As a start, it would be best to test tracks between Chennai Central & Arakkonam Jn which is roughly 69 kms

From Naren's answer, we must guess you're meaning Indian Northern ,Western and Eastern and Southern Railway; but there are also Northern (and so on) Railways in Australia, Germany, and elsewhere.

There is, here, a subforum for MSTS Routes Questions; and another one for MSTS Routes Design; they were looking like good places for your project.

This paragraph is now irrelevant since the thread has been moved.

If you don't want spams flood, you should obscure your email address, at least with [at] or [dot] (if spammers don't yet know the trick...).

Happy travels in India and everywhere with MSTS.

Well Thanks Naren2623.., Lets start with basics., As you said the 69km route from Chennai Central(MAS) and Arakkonam (AJJ) can be designed and it will be best initiation for the Indian Southern Railway Route, Just we need some basic ideas about what are stations and elevations in the particular route.., and also we should be concern of the textures and shapes. Initially we can start with Yelagiri Express which has stops in Perambur, Avadi, Ambattur, Thiruvallur and also the Emu Route,

Follow up : I am not sure if you were aware , Vikash , of the existence of a Facebook group based in India, who have many highly talented participants, that could provide help for your project . I will try to post a link to this Facebook Group , in the next 2 days .

That being said, you are most welcomed to post questions to this section of the Forum , here, at Train Sim.com, as there is a vast amount of information you can access, by doing searches for previous posts / topics.
