Ok, we are getting closer,
With the <load error> Hammond to Chicago, this is the file name, we can safely assume that the activity file is corrupt or not in unicode format.
I would assume that the Texas activity is similar.
I am intrigued that MSTS_ActMan did not find the errors, I will report to Ged.
Cheers

Hi Barrie,
Can you attach the act file ( you will have to zip it first ) so I can have a look?
Cheers

Hi Barrie,
The activities are exactly the same as mine.
Can you attach a log file from one of the good activities?
Cheers
Derek

Hi Barrie,
Derek asked if I could shed any light on your query.
The Player consist for each of those activities uses the MSTS default Genesis loco, which, unfortunately, doesn't have a cabview. This is the reason Open Rails didn't like it! Adding one solves the problem. It may not be the best available, but I used the one in genpls02.zip because it was easy to install - just run the .exe file!
It's not something the current version of MSTS_ActMan checks for, but you have given me an idea!!
Cheers,
Ged

G'day Ged, Derek, Rick and Gerry, well that worked. Something so simple yet so much of a headache to find, thank you all so much for your efforts, I thought I was going mad.
Thankfully yours.
Barrie
