    Default Brake pressing

I have a question about "brake pressing" parameter:

What does actually means? Is it samething about the effectiveness of the train brake?
Here in Italy we have a parameter called "pergentage of braking" that range from about 50% for (slow) freight trains to about 145% for fast passenger trains... is it something similar?

    Thanks

    Hello E444.005!

"Brake pressing / 100 tons" defines how much weight (of brake) is pressing on 100 tons of rolling stock (relative). Basically this option defines sensitivity of train brakes.

Typical values for brake pressing would be:

Passenger: 33 tons of brakes / 100 tons of rolling stock
Freight: 60 tons of brakes / 100 tons of rolling stock.
