Great shots guys! Especially you, Neil!

In modern times the Lamoille Valley Railroad operates as a subsidiary of the Lake Champlain & Susquehanna. They inherited two GP38-2s from the New Hampshire & Vermont Railroad in the late 1990s. 3800 was painted in NHVT colors, and patched for the LVRC. 3801 was never actually painted, and to this day operates in tattered Maine Central colors. It was rebuilt at some point by Guilford, removing its dynamic braking and upgrading the electronics to -2 standards. When the LC&S rescued the railroad from abandonment, a third GP38-2 was purchased and painted in LVRC yellow/green.

Here we see two LVRC GP38-2s sitting on the Hardwick & Woodbury division.

Such an attractive railroad there, MS.

Max, being a lover of the GP38-2, the two you posted on the last page are looking great!

New Activity in the making..... Tilbury Local....L-PKTL which is a long range local setting out and picking up at a few yards along the way. This local will work a few interchange junctions, an auto manufacturing yard, the division point yard and end at a smallish yard only to return the next trick. Having been called for this job, we view our power as we arrive at the yard. Two older, but well cared for Alcos bumped from mainline service by delivery of SD40-2Ws

Keep those Alco's running, Chuck! No reason to junk them if they can still pull freight, eh?

Noah - you floored me with the power on that train.
