Paul's no longer with us? That's a blow, and actually a sad reminder of how many "Sim Enthusiasts" have "left this mortal coil".

I downloaded his version of the GMO years ago. It "challenged" PC's of the day but now it should run OK. His site is still loading from my favourites though?

If what was said about Paul above is true - I am deeply saddened. Paul indeed was a great guy. I am fortunate enough as well to have corresponded with him many times over the years, though not recently.
Godspeed Paul, if you are now with the heavens.

I too am deeply saddened too if Paul Fowler has indeed gone home to be with the Lord he loved while he was here on earth. I know I too was able to correspond with him via email off the site many times over the years as well, although like Neil, not recently after he left the forums and MSTS. I was very blessed for the opportunity to have known him and to benefit from the talents he had, if even for only a short time. God bless your family Paul and God speed.

Yes, Paul passed away last week, and was one of the early pioneers for detailed models. You can see (and buy) some of his work here: http://www.mstsgmo.com/ (his wife is leaving the store open for the time being... she is also a railfan)

Now... can we please get back to posting screenshots?....
Sad news and good news that his partner is a railfan too. I wish I still had the machine running that had his stuff on because his early GMO F-units and their weathering were really good! Has anyone still got them and his version of the GMO route? That'd make some great shots?

Had heard this few days ago. It's sad to have a contributor gone.

Peace be you, your family, and friends.
