    Question Sigcfg.dar error

Whenever I open the train simulator program I immediately get the following error "Failed to open files Routes\..\sigcfg.dat"
If I tell the computer to continue "YES" the program continues as if nothing happened. Can anyone tell me how to get rid of this error.

What route are you getting the error in?
Are there errors on other routes.
    What is the installed loaction?
    Cheers

The error occures when I first start the simulation, before the first screen is displayed. The simulation is loaded on the E drive and does not use the program vile at all.

    Hi jackcary,
Is this the EXACT error message? "Failed to open files Routes\..\sigcfg.dat"
What I'm getting at is : Is it really two dots and a space between the slashes? If so, I would suggest that you have an invalid route within the ROUTES folder. Either that, or one of your routes doesn't have a sigcfg.dat file, or it is corrupted.

    Cheers,
    Ged

or ... the file is not compressed in the proper UNICODE file format, or that your computer / installation, cannot read the UNICODE file .
