Default Got the best seat in the House!

Good Morning! While I was in the hospital for few days to treat my illness, I got a chance to take some actions on BNSF racetrack line in Berwyn, Illinois. Yes, I felt like I was in a clubhouse of trains. I was in the North Building along the tracks at MacNeal Hospital where I used to work. Starting with morning commute running from Aurora to Union Station. All pictures were in around 8 AM starting with eastbound local stops. Train #1244

EB Aurora to US #1240 on middle track

    Another EB express #1252

    WB local stops #1225

Saw 6 trains in span of 5 minutes, more to follow........

Continuing with afternoon WB express to Aurora

    Day 2
    Afternoon stacks

Beginning of afternoon rush with WB local stops

WB pigs and stacks crawling west....

I was unable to catch both Amtrak California Zephyr and Southwest Chief because they were both cruising pretty fast and I was trying to get my phone out fast enough but unsucessful, sorry . I was using my cellphone camera and I was kinda surprised most of the pictures came out pretty good. I am home now resting comfortable and getting ready to ring in the new year 2015. Thanks for looking and N-Joy!

Why are they all running on the wrong tracks?...

    Glad to hear you're home.

What do you mean? I can say this both morning and afternoon BNSF Metra express runs on middle track and both outside is for EB and WB local stops. During non-rush hour, any trains can run on any tracks depending how the are set when coming in or going out of Cicero yard which it's about 3 miles to the right of me.

I have a feeling "Mr. CNW" was being funny...

Hope you're on the mend, Ken.

If was in for something, and had that view....I'd ask them to make sure they check everything they could with me, maybe keep me a few extra days, just to be certain
