I am trying to use the session file for the 2015 Session available for download on the Run8 Depot site. It downloads without a file extension. I put it in the "WorldSaves" subdirectory, but Run8 does not "see" it. I notice that other saves in the subdirectory consist of two files: one with ".info" extension and one with a ".xml" extension. What do I have to do to allow Run8 to use this session file?

Thanks in advance for any help.

The "info" file is just there to help load the session list faster. You really only need the .xml file. I downloaded this session to both the Barstow trains folder and the World Saves folder and both of them showed up as separate sessions. I noticed that when I told it to save, it did not include the file extension in the name of the file but told me right below the name that it was going to save as a .xml file. Maybe some exact details about the steps you are taking to download and save the file?

    I hope this helps.

Thanks for the info. What I did was add the ".xml" extension my self. This enabled the session to appear in the list. The program itself created the second file with the ".info" extension.

Do you know if there is a summary of the session available, possibly listing the trains and their activity?

I'm not sure if that exists as this session was created by ARS. You might try contacting them and see if they have anything on it.
