I'm in shock and truly saddened to hear of Ken's passing. (I had to look at the OP to see if I read the name right.)

While I never met him personally, I nevertheless considered him a friend, both here and as a fellow N Scale enthusiast, and he had been busy the last couple of years revamping and expanding his N Scale empire. I sure would have liked to run trains on his pike.

God speed, good buddy. You will be dearly missed.

Truly a shock. According to his profile, he logged on hear as recently as yesterday.

Ken always struck me as a fair moderator. He will be missed.

    Default Not to be forgotten

Back in 2007, a bunch of us Northern Illinois Railfan/Simmers formed a group and called ourselves the "Minds" do to all the combined knowledge of the members; of which Ken was one of the earliest. We had many outings together which were always good times to remember.I am enclosing two photos of two of our gatherings. At Blue Island, Ken is at the far left. At Pine Jct, he is kneeling in the front.Rest in pease, Ken; you will be missed!
