Default ATSF/BNSF SD75 series number board font

Hello all, I am trying to do some renumbers of the remaining SD75M/Is and can't for the life of me find the answer to what font ATSF/BNSF used on their SD75s.

Actually, there really isnt an accurate numberboard font anywhere for the EMD numberboards of the widecab era 1990s.

I have this file. I probably made this pretty quickly for a project. When I need them for automations I sometimes make some up in CAD.

It seems to match the kind you are looking for to go on the numberboard

That is probably a thinner version of Pete's Santa Fe numberboard font. Its close to the late N&W, late SOU/Early NS, FEC, EL, late D&H, late IC, and the as-delivered CR SD60s where they used black numbers on white background. The only issue is the 2 is off, center should be more slanted

What doesnt exist is the 'wider' EMD canadian cab numberboard fonts used on the BN SD70MACs, UP SD60Ms, CP SD9043s, EMD SD70Ms, and ATSF SD75Ms. The 7 has a straight downward leg, and the 3 has a serif only at the top but not at the bottom.

The UP SD60Ms have a serif only on the bottom of the 3. UP version numbers are thicker too, as the 'eye' of the 6 is not as big as the eye of the 9 on the BNSF unit above

The UPs look similar to the CN numberboard fonts with serif on the bottom, but the CN forehead font looks more like the BNSF/ATSF one with the serif on the top!

What also doesnt exist is the standard EMD factory numberboard font from the late 1970s/1980s. The font used on new deliveries to CR, Mop, BN, SOU, and KCS. The recently restored NS 3170 has the EMD factory font.

Lots of fonts dance around these 3 "mainstream" types, but none hit it dead-on target.

My starting point for the 1990s London graduates was a free font called Bombardier. I would make necessary tweaks or add serifs as needed.
