    Smile f1 Cab view

When I use the F1 key on some engines I see some of the exterior parts of the cab. I have seen a posting on how to eliminate these exterior parts, but I can't find it. I would appreciate it if any can point me in the right direction. Thanks in advance.

    Hi,
Yes - these are most likely parts from a Freight Animation (FA) showing up.
In the engines cabview file, you can adjust the "Position" values.
Here is an example of that line I am speaking of: Position ( .8 3.9 8.8 )
The ".08" would be left/right from center; "3.9" would be above/below center; and "8.8" would be fore/aft of center.
I use the word center, but if you get my point, simply make small adjustments for/aft & above/below, and see if you get rid of the parts showing.
I suggest making a backup copy of the .cabview file prior to editing, so you have a fall back in case things get jazzed up.

I usually find success in pushing the fore/aft value forward, so maybe try 9.0 and check the results.
