Thread: T:ANE ReleaseCandidate2 or CE 1.2

    Default T:ANE ReleaseCandidate2 or CE 1.2

RC2 looks basically the same as RC1. They said the water was fixed, eh. This will be released as CE 1.2 next week or so.

Most of the built-in routes are overly foggy, guess to hide the fact that the "Speedtrees" kill the performance.

Dermmy/Checkrail's TS2010 Eastern Kentucky with the old Trunda trees goes at 60FPS with no fog compared to Hinton at 22FPS.

    Like the 60FPS in EK3!!!!

Default Very little stutter on an HDD

Have Eastern Kentucky on a HDD and not an SSD and there is only minimal tile loading stutter.

Wasn't worth running other versions of Trainz unless it was on an SSD. The other versions would go hiccuping along.

T:ANE is smooth. Forgot it was on an HDD.

    Default Water

Have a hard time getting the water color right:

The water is hit or miss in old routes.

Very nice piccies H, water in the last one looks good.

When you say CE v1.2, is it being released to the general pre-order public as per v1.0 & v1.1 ?

so the current plan is that next week you will be able to patch from CE V1.1 to the live version of CE V1.2.

    Oh right, thanks Harold.

Should be worth a look then.

Do the "Navigate and Drive To Trackmark" commands work in this latest beta do you know ?

Thanks very much Harold, good news.

I enjoy setting a path for a consist and just following it or riding the passenger view.

Cannot do that at the moment with v1.1

    Found the gamma control.

    More complicated than a slider.

Can be changed by time of day in the Environment window.
