    >MSTS is installed in an X86 program file

It is essential that you uninstall MSTS and install as per:-

    Then try again.

Well you've not exactly posted much information in addition to bumping an old thread that may not be directly relevant.

You could start by posting your PC specs including graphics card and operating system, where MSTS is installed, whether you're running a genuine or warez copy etc., etc.

While you are gathering the requested information you could also say if you are running in Openrails,
also try deleting the startup movie, that fixed my keyboard problem, and was recommended by the great Ottodad.

The startup movie is in the Root/Global folder and is a .mpg file.

The current AMD drivers no longer include atiumdag.dll, but you can install the Windows 7 drivers in compatibility mode "Windows 7" on Windows 10 and apply the AMD Bugfix. Tested this with a Radeon RX560 on Windows 10 - it works!

I have updated vin10 to the latest revision. A laptop with an amd video card, mtsts worked on wines 10 of the previous edition. Now the last firewood from the amd is installed, the msts does not start. Tell me the solution.

You would be much better served to upgrade to Open Rails.
It is far more reliable than MSTS.
It has programmers currently working on it.

    I could go on...

if everyone wants to play MSTS i will go for openrails. if must faster and better and you will enjoy openrails for years to come.
