We can ask Nels about increasing the edit time frame. 30 minutes is not long enough.
Until then, maybe you could just save your updates for once a day unless you're answering questions from other people that come up.
For what it's worth...for a long time editing posts was not time limited. Then because of some kerfuffle it was implemented. ( I cannot remember the exact kerfuffle ). I think people should be allowed to self-regulate, by editing there posts whether it be for factual errors or rude nonsense. IF they cannot self-regulate then ban them for a while or permanently, whatever seems appropriate and fair.
I really have not seen very much of the "wild west" old flame stuff in the threads any more. Moderators have been handling stuff fairly and reasonably and members, while sometimes ribbing one another, are generally a congenial -- sometimes irascible -- group.
Maybe Nels, rethinking the policy would be good.
Cheers, Gerry

Good evening!
The OR instruction manual page has now been streamlined to reduce the number of pages. You can see what the whole thing will look like in the future on the English page of the operating instructions.

Actually... the edit time is a table setting in the software, so it's not a change that would require developer time or testing...
It's already been increased to give people up to 24 hours to make corrections and edits. Should that be abused, it will be revisited again.
Good evening!
Unfortunately, the preparation of the traction force curves for the V 100 has only now been completed - now the values still have to be converted to the units of measurement used in the OR and the whole thing has to be tested in the OR. Hope everything works out as intended. That's why the regular weekly report for week 10 continues on Sunday.

Good morning!
Breakthrough!
Yesterday the work on the OR .eng files for the V 100 could finally be completed. Now the packages are equipped with the files. The files receive further improvements and extensions. The next weekly report is for calendar week 14 and will be available on April 9th, 2023.
