    Summer 1970's

    Somewhere along Route 40 in Maryland we catch a Chessie system freight heading towards Baltimore soon this train will rumble thru Aberdeen Maryland.

    B30-7 from the file library csxb30_1.zip CSX Former Chessie GE B30-7 Set Repainted back to Chessie numbering and lettering.

    That's really nice. That route does capture the look of Maryland.

    You know, in all my years of watching Chessie freights on the B&O in the seventies and eighties, I never once saw a GE. I assume they must have made it there, how could they not.

    You know come to think of it your correct I think I saw just 1. it was ALL EMD guess that's why I love them more. Yet if you went to the Middle of Aberdeen to the Old PC crossing you were able to see EVERYTHING from GG-1 E44's E33's Alco's EMD. I do remember when they removed the crossing gate due to many car crashes.
