Default crossing blinkers and wig wag signals not working in open rails

I noticed that warning lights and wig wag signals do not function in open rails but warning lights work with crossing gates. Is their a solution to get them to work in open rails.

Hmmm...I thought I saw them working in a route? Perhaps, the problem is in the route. Since the route was created with MSTS in mind, have you checked to see if they work using MSTS?

I know it varies from route to route, based on the type of signals used. Some signals do not tend to cooperate with OR for some reason.

There is a problem with most of Bruce Bridges animated flashers. They have a fraction in the animation line located near the bottom of the ".s" file that OR doesn't like. Just change the number as in the attached images and now your flashers will work in both MSTS and OR.

You'd need to tell us what shape is being used, or at a minimum, what route it is...

From my experience, I believe there's a process that should be kept in mind. Follow these steps if you are familiar with TSRE.

Step 1 - Each piece of animation has a set of schematics you should follow if you want realism on your route. (Animations include, but are not limited to, gates, flashers, wig-wags, etc.)

Step 2 - If you downloaded some of Travis Ebner's Crossing Signal sets, there should be a readme PDF that explains how to set-up some of the schematics for genuine use on the route. Depending on railroad, they may be adjusted accordingly.

Step 3 - Ensure your new signals work by testing the route.

If all goes well, your wig-wags and crossing flashers/gates will function properly!
