dynamic Brake

I have a problem with the ProTrain Addon PT17 - Munich-Salzburg with all S-Bahn types Trains.
Watch the Attachement.

I can press the "comma" button, but nothing happens.

The picture is too small to read the words. What does it say on the black banner, and what do you see if you have the F5 HUD on screen?.

It says "Warning, (something illegible) locked, Release dynamic brake then retry".


Pulled out the magnifying glass for that one.

Discussing using a Dispatcher with a friend in the Railworks forum I tested what this ORTS one does.

Let me throw the switch in its window to divert the player ICE-3 but applied emergency brakes !

Trying to back it up could not release the DYN brakes, like others have reported here !

Suggestions ?

Dynamic brake controls are , (comma) to decrease and . (period) to increase, not CTRL + :
I think there is a built-in delay before the dynamic brake can be fully released.

Nothing worked for me until I went to the engine file of the particular loco I wanted to use and deleted all the references to the dynamic brake. Problem solved! I just like to watch my trains operate! Period!
