My condolences, rest in peace, Otto. It is always very difficult to get the news that someone now not lives with us.

One of my sharpest memories of this community is how willing everyone was to help each other. Otto was no exception: his was always one of those names I remember popping up in help threads, and his responses always detailed and thorough yet remaining understandable to anyone who saw them.

May you rest in peace, sir.

Very sad getting up this morning to read the news.

RIP Otto and condolences to his family and friends.

His unique input and perspective will be sorely missed.

And on a valedictory note, I'm sure he's already advising St Peter that the Pearly Gate terminus really needs a turning loop to reverse the incoming trains.

    Unhappy

Although not unexpected, I'm saddened to learn of this. Too bad he didn't get the chance to experience the upcoming TSW. I imagine he would have enjoyed it a great deal.

    I will sorely miss him.

I really can't say a whole lot from the bottom of my heart, as I was never that close to Otto. However, I always noticed his presence here, and it's not a long shot to say he was TS's biggest forum contributor. My prayers are out for his family.
