    Default RDMT, RM-1, Slug Set...

...Which ever you desire to call them, the Western Maine Rail Company has pushed out their first RDMT/RM-1 locomotive from the shops. #100, with mother unit CIT 406 in trail mode.

For further info, under "road slugs" of this link. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Slug_(railroad)

The WMRC plans to have a few more in their fleet, ranging from numbers #100-109. They also plan some yard slugs as well, #110-119.

The locomotive has slipped into dynamic brake mode, and is working like a champ keeping this short train at it's max speed of 25mph for this section of the line. The true test will be up and over Crawford Notch, in the next couple of days.

#100 in it's fresh Phase 4 paint scheme of the WMRC, leading #253, in her phase 3 scheme, and a short mixed freight. Logo's have yet to be added, she is needed for service, will receive them during the 92 day inspection.

Excellent work, Shawn! Are those based on SLI or a new model?
