Hahahahahahaha, don't get me started on all the snowflakes clearing the shelves of toilet paper.
And various other essential commodities, like paracetamol. Which is a sure fire cure for coronavirus.
God help them all if they had been adults in the 1980's. When we had the Protect & Survive pamphlet, shoved through the letterbox.
By Thatchers neo right wing government. I think most of them would have disintegrated into a pile of quivering jelly.
Anyway i digress Bruce, i was only winding you up buddy.

Mike,
Thanks for the heads up on the new site.
I'm going to save all for later use just incase.
Could any of you gentlemen tell me what happened with the Cross City South V2?
https://railsimroutes.net/x-city_south/
I've been waiting for something to show up for ages now!
Robert
Robert, it was Vern who first mentioned the site buddy.
But as he says above, it looks like it could be a dormant site.
Not sure what happened to cross city. My favourite UK route for the sim, was always Edinburgh - Aberdeen.

Thanks Mike.
I am one of the few in the states that is very into British stuff I guess.
Hell, I collect those old Tri-ang models these days. My favorite is the Type 3 diesel and the Scotsman.
Tri-ang appeals to me because it had so much to offer in way of a complete layout system. Very integrated and well thought out for the most part. I'm an old head that still prefers DC to DCC or the like. Today's models are also way too fragile. Pick one up and something is sure to drop off.
Too bad none of the US companies offered anything that integrated in the HO range. The Minic Motorway with it's roundabout and road/rail sections, plus snap in scenery objects was one of a kind. No one ever offered anything like that in HO.
I've been looking for HO slotcar track with rails down the middle of the road for street running, it doesn't exist outside Minic Motorways.
Robert
Hiya Robert,
i had quite a bit of the original Triang stuff growing up, not Triang\Hornby which came later.
Also had a Minic set, which was designed to integrate with the model railway.

Looking at the prices of model railways these days. I could never afford the most basic set, so it's trains on the pc instead.
