BTW: If you look closely near the tracks in Brattleboro, VT, you'll see the Theater Motel, a place my family would stay when I was young, where I would see the Budd cars flash by at night behind the drive in movie screen. Thanks again, Paul, for bringing that memory to life!

After the previous post, I thought, why not SHOW the Theater Motel?

Here is is, from the motel side and from the train

If you stayed at the motel, you had a picture window on the back side of the room, with a clear view of the movie screen, and they piped the sound into the room. High Tech for the 1960's

During our visit in 1965, the movie was Elvis Presley in "Harum Scarum"... Too risque for my grandmother, she closed the drapes
