Some much needed maintenance work on the CSAO Southern Secondary. After 41 years of deferred maintenance it needs it. Speaking of 41 years, it's been that long since an old friend was here. NS SD40-2R #3445 makes it home after all this time. She is actually former CNJ SD40 #3063. She is quite use to this territory in Farmingdale, NJ pulling those sand extras for building the Meadowlands Sports complex in the early 1970's plus JS-1 & SJ-2. Now down to pulling a MOW train on here but hey ! It is home turf after all.

Route: Steve Durham's Blue Comet Lines (T-S Library here) - Heavily Modified Stock: SLI-TS Repaint, Tigertrains & T-S Library

Rolling south past NWS Earle.

Taken on the Rt. 34 overpass by the Collingswood Auction. The Rt. 33 signs isn't a mistake. It was there for years back in the early 1990's confusing drivers for years.

Crossing Asbury Road in Farmingdale.

The fields of Follow-Me-Farms are empty this year due to the property being sold. The original owners were always very kind to railfans taking photos from the CNJ years into the CSAO years.

It didn't work 41 years ago. What makes you think it would work now?
