I seem to recall that the FT's and F2's had manually operated radiator shutters, the fireman had to take regular trips to make certain that the temperatures were right. He's going to be really happy about having to walk back 7 units to do this......

Could always be worse, could have to carry a knuckle 25+ cars back and meet up with the Conductor and or Trainman in 20 degree weather.
