FIRST OFF. I apologize for the missing images in all my older posts. I updated how the file structure works on my server, and I can't update the links here I guess...

Secondly...There's just something about that sunset in Del Mar that beats almost ANYTHING in California!

    Regards,

Needed another break tonight (To fix a big boo-boo, will explain later. Just say DUH ! on me ) so figured nothing like a a little fun run with a little early Conrail on the "Curve". Nothing like a few Blues & stencil units pulling some piggys.

Route: Austin Yoder's Horseshoe Curve (Train-Sim D/L Library)
    Motive Power: SLI Repaints, DW
    Rolling Stock: DW, MLT repaints

Lucky the drone was out this afternoon to capture the view

    ENJOY..........

NWL CP Transfer of LPG to Greenfield Refinery. Low priority Train from Spruce Grove to the transfer track, needing CN RTC permission to enter South main to use the run around.

The "Sears Point Special" departs the town of Sonoma on an advance approach. The next signal at the Sonoma Valley High will be an approach diverging as the train switches from Main 2 to Main 1.

The CFNR job has a crew and is getting ready to head out...The signals are lined up after the NWP dispatch is called and they're looking at a diverging clear out of Schellville.

Hawthorne station on the Erie's Paterson and Ramapo. Wagaraw Rd was moved underneath the P&R in 1943, necessitating a move of the Erie station towards Suffern, and the replacement of the Pin connected Truss with a Thru Plate Girder.

Riverside Station. Eventually the concrete road will have a Public service trolley line laid into it.

My take on RD tower. Beside operating the gates for the roads it sat between, it controlled the transition from double track to single track. Have not found a photo of the real one yet.

For some the rumble of 6 GP9's in notch 2 pulling a LOOOOONG loaded lumber train across a remote highway crossing is soothing to the soul. For others, it's a pain! For me, it's soothing and relaxing as I sit on the guardrail post closest to the crossing buck.

    Regards,

    -Frank C.
