Thread: missing scenery northeast territory

    Default missing scenery northeast territory

With V2 version my northeast routes missing scenery,
as an example missing scenery occur at about CP 184
    between Amsterdam and Fonda.
Any idea how to fix it appreciated.
All the latest updates for Run 8 installed.

Also after migrating all other routes from V1 to V2
I am left on my C/ drive with files for Fun 8 in (program
files X86) folder and Run 8 folder by itself.
Is it correct for Run 8 to be in both folders?
For those that imported routes from V 1 to V2 do You still have both folders
with run 8 files in it.
Never had any problems with route missing large chunks of scenery.
Have both NE routes and both missing scenery.

    Thank You.

    Jack.

By default, Run V1 installed into "\Program Files (x86)\Run8". V2 installs into "\Run8Studios". The screenshots you included appear that not all of the content has been loaded. One very important question: "Did you install both northeast routes (Selkirk and Mohawk)? If you only installed one, make sure your'e looking at trackage on the route you've installed.

Other than that, make sure you followed the instructions for importing routes to the letter. A mistake will create the situation you see. You will find the instructions in the user guide directory of Run8 V2.

Looks like you are missing some tiles, I would install the route and v1 update first, open up the sim and load a route, let it convert then install the V2 updates afterwords. Make sure you install the routes the the same location as your run 8 directory. eg C:\Run8Studios\Run8 Train Simulator V2 (Default Location)

That looks fine to me, I'm not sure what you are trying to demonstrate though.

    Thank You for Reply.
My Run8 log shows several lines of
    errors.

    2017-09-12 18:08:33,784 ERROR - AIS2 CSX_SelkirkTerminal T Run-8TrainSimulatorV2.AssemblyOptions
    2017-09-12 18:08:33,784 ERROR - AIS 1 2058
    2017-09-12 18:08:33,785 ERROR - AIS 1 907
    2017-09-12 18:08:33,785 ERROR - AIS 1 908

I am somewhat familiar with error logs from flight sim, but above errors does not point out
at least to me how to correct those errors.
I have follow all of the suggestions from Run 8 update page + help guide but still missing tiles.
My Selkirk region size 104mb, 4605 files, 6 folders.
    Mohawk sub size 2.23mb, 17 files,0 folders.
Selkirk terminal size 2.67mb, 20 files, 0 folders.
    Could We compare above numbers...
    Thanks.

Jack, Selkirk Terminal region size should be "On Disk" 245MB, 18330 files, 6 folders. I have 197 train files in my train folder @Selkirk, so you need to take into account, some I created. But they all very small file size.
I would suggest re install, or contact the Developers for another link to download again.

    TurboBlower,Thank You for Your reply.
Will wrap my head around once again
tomorrow, why and what went wrong.
It is something simple, "that wrong makes
right, and I am just about there", but
can not put last nail in the Run 8" , to get
full compliment from NE Sub. Bummer...
At some point Forum Pips and ME will find
    solution to My problem.
My Best wishes to New Zealand.

Your welcome Jack. Make sure you install as admin, and turn anti virus off, and also make sure if not mentioned already, go for the default install, eg C:\Run8studios.....etc

    Regards
