    Phil, wouldn't a train of that era have a caboose hanging off the end?

    Excellent observation. Yes. But I realised the error after I had:

    Made the video.
    Compressed the video file.
    Uploaded it to youtube.

    At that stage I thought "What the heck. It's a model railroad, not a real one. I just can't be bothered doing it all again."
