    Default Can someone help me increase the speed at which a sound activates?

    I want my passenger cars to squeal earlier during braking.. but I have no idea how to modify an SMS file. At the moment they activate at 2mph or less.

    Here's what I think to be the relevant part of my SMS file for cars:

    I would not use a distance trigger here. Try This:
    Variable_Trigger (Speed_Dec_Past 15.0
    PlayOneShot ( 5
    File ( "x_uk_brakesqueal01a.wav" -1 )
    File ( "x_silence_0-10.wav" -1 )
    File ( "x_uk_brakesqueal02a.wav" -1 )
    File ( "x_silence_0-10.wav" -1 )
    File ( "x_uk_brakesqueal01b.wav" -1 )
    SelectionMethod ( RandomSelection )
    )
    )
    you may replace the 15.0 with any speed desired. This will only play when slowing down. The numbers on a distance trigger are meters not speed so the distance trigger would have played whenever the train covered the distance entered.
