Question TGA to ACE Conversion Techniques...

Does anyone have a good method for converting a large amount of TGA to ACE files?

I'm looking at 80+ TGA's to convert and am trying to avoid doing them one at a time...

Boy, this sure would be nice to have. Although I always have to go back and fix things once I look at the .ace file on the model.

What I'd really love is a photoshop exporter to save as an .ace file without even going through the .tga phase!

    One can dream . . .

I use AceIt for such things. I don't know if multiple files can be done at once, but if they're not terribly large, it shouldn't take all that long

I didn't think there was such a tool, but thought I'd ask...AceIt won't do multiple files at once. The files are reasonably large so it takes time...Oh well!

Vaguely remember someone writing a script to do exactly that. Shouldn't be too difficult to write a VB script.

A little searching and I found a photoshop to .ace exporter.

I haven't ever done serious work with the GIMP (I've messed around with it). Does it have an .ace exporter?
    thanks

DXTBMP program can also be used.
DXTBMP can convert into DDS also.
But it don't convert in batches.

In RailWorks, the RWAce tool converts multiple files at once.

    I think it don't have.
Photoshop had earlier ACE plugin but now a days I use DXTBMP for DDS.
