Lightbulb New Train Simulator aimed at good physics and graphics!Help needed!

    Hi everyone,

We are developing a new Train Simulator aiming at good physics and graphics at the same time.
We are a group of 6 peaple who each have different abilitie's like moddeling and programming.
I and the rest of the team are developing in Unreal Engine and we have come a long way already.
Trains can drive, cabine support, level editing, train importing from blender and 3ds max, physics creation program for trains.
With this post we hope you could point us in features you would like to have, things we have to watch out for, and things we really have to avoid.
We are planning on releasing in June 2018.
Our aim is to provide good physics for trains as that's what a sim is about,
Also we want to provide good graphics so you actually feel like driving a train.
Offcourse our train simulator will include all standard features that are there in real live.
Like traffic systems, overspeed systems, engine simulations, easy to adjust physics, crashing.
Also we are planning on adding multiplayer support to the simulater later on when the main simulator is finished.
We would like to use this post for updates on our simulator.
Our simulator will be released to steam for pc, mac, and linux.
The price off our sim has'nt been decided yet but it will be around $15 probably.
Offcourse there also will be addons to buy(like train and routes).

Now even though the programming is going well, we got one major problem:
We got 4 peaple doing programming and 2 doing graphics work, and we desperately need more peaple to help with graphics creating like scenery/route creating and train moddeling.
So we are hoping there are members in this forum who have created railway scenery and/or train models that look decent(made for ts2017 etc.) and are willing to contribute to our simulator by converting them for our simulator or sharing the models with us.
We will convert them around for our sim(or provide the software for you to do so if you don't trust us with your models).
So if you want to help us with our simulator, you can reply to this post or send me a pm.
Offcourse you don't have to do this all for free!
If we decide to include your model in our sim(base) we will offcourse give you a little money as comensation!(depends on how your model looks and such, we will make an agreement)
Pictures of our current scenery and trains(yes, we need help indeed ):

So we hope you want to help us and/or have ideas for the game!

    Thanks

Best of luck with your project. Learn the pro's and con's of other train sims and try not to repeat their mistakes. I will watch for further development with interest.

As a route builder and modeler, I wish you the best of luck. Please make sure you take the community into account. With their support, you can achieve lots of things.

There are several different train sims under development and people capable of, and interested in writing code and other development work are thin on the ground. Train simming is after all a niche market. You just have to be patient, carry on with your project and see is anyone else wants to join you in the future.
