Default Testing - BLW/ZT ICRR E7 on the Monon Route

I still have some final details, but the new (OR for now) E7s are nearly done, representing the initial style from EMD in the late 1940s.

The fake story for these shots: A camp train from Louisville to the wilds of Indiana has given the Monon the opportunity to 'road test' a set of Illinois Central E7s.

The Panama! Very nice, Rick! The colors are brilliant!

I wonder if the E7s were geared for 117 mph like the E8-9s? I've read stories by people who claim to have run them up to 120+ mph on a long, straight downhill run. Said the telephone poles looked like a picket fence!

    Really looks good Rick!

Now, if someone can do the IC route (even upgrade Dave Klemm's version), would be great.

For sure. I have promised to do CoNO and I'll probably do the Panama Limited, but the E7 will be the basis for a lot of RR sets (and upgrades).
