A three bay PS-2 covered hopper with more cubic capacity for lighter material:
(In 1957 almost all grain moved in 40' boxcars)

Here's a tank car used for diesel fuel - probably purchased used from shippers car line some time after WWII.
I've also seen long strings of UTLX tank cars used for B&O locomotive diesel fuel.

Time for some cabooses. This is class I-1, the first 8 wheeled wood cabooses, used in local service by the fifties and lasting into the seventies.
Some lost the cupolas due to the ravages of time and those cabooses were used in transfer service of south of Grafton WV where clearance was limited under tipples.
Three post 1945 schemes. The one without the cupola is in a ninteen thirties scheme. It is at the B&O railroad museum in that scheme. I don't actually know what scheme it wore in 1957, only guessing it might have lingered in the older scheme because the museum did it.

I-5 wooden cabooses, also used for local and secondary service.
All in post 1945 paint schemes save one with the plain capital dome logo which is painted circa 1937-1945 (but the scheme lingered on)

The unique B&O wagontop cabooses below were used on through freights and coal trains. Since some were right behind pusher engines and steam lasted until 1957, one is quite weathered.
Nothing says B&O like a wagontop caboose!

New Baldwin AS-16





Updated Baldwin DS-44-1000. Just noticed, I need to take the 3D cab windows from the AS-16 and put them on this model!





Updated Alco S4 - Showing the BRAND NEW Alco Switcher Cabview (Thanks to Chris Parker for the photographs), louvers, handrail detail, new radiator. I have many more details to add/upgrade on this model.



We believe this set will be worth the wait!
