These pictures are very timely . Firstly they show an interesting contrast with the scenery in Run8 as shown in this post https://www.trainsim.com/vbts/showth...igman-to-LAUPT
If you look at the real location pictures linked in that thread you can see (if you need any persuasion ) that "The Desert" is anything but a simple environment to create in a simulation?

Secondly and in view of Michelle's recent efforts, can you give us the source of the coil cars and covered gondola (?) immediately behind the loco #4942 that's going away from us? Covered Gondola's and coil cars (which came in many shapes and sizes) are pretty thin in the libraries or payware.

    Great shots BTW.

The coil car behind the trailing unit is from an old set by Toronto Mainline Trains ( or what ever that outfit was before the name change ) all the other cars are from the file library. The brown BNSF cars have the old round logo on them and need to be updated.

The BNSF coil car is from Tiger Trains.

Default Kansas City to San Bernardino Z-train at East Valentine.

Some of the first BNSF ET44C4s were built in 2016 and are already getting a little road grime on them.
