YES! I found some old ATSF coil cars that actually carried that logo on the sides.

I'm only going for "close enough" all the examples I've found are rather dirty or faded

Good for early ATSF... later they seemed to migrate to the more common boxcar red.

Note: I might be able to have the ATSF shock font done by tomorrow.

    Cool stuff Pete!

You think you could do more ideas for fonts?

    Here's my ideas
Privately owned/ACFX/PTLX Hopper logo font sets (you could do several if you like)
    Penn Central/PRR (mostly logos)
Southern Pacific/DRGW logos (including speed lettering)
Logos of various privately owned company railcars
    Canadian Pacific/Canadian National related logos

    Thank you, Pete!

Those work perfectly as i am going to make up just a set of ATSF coil cars. The first car I did had the Huge Santa Fe logo on it the rest either had a small ATSF logo on the hood or nothing.

Yeah, I tried to cover most of the versions I encountered while googling. I know they are not perfect... but you know the saying "Fast, Cheap, Good"... pick two. lol

Johnnyboy99... have you looked at my website?

Also... I never try to compete with RailFonts since what I offer is for free. I realize I might have overlapped with them a few tmes and I even held back releasing my Conrail font for a number of years because I didn't want to impact them... but what I do is basically for modeling "decal sheet" type work and not normally full letter sets (Though I do those... like for Whitepass and Southern Pacific Roman as 2 examples) Anyway... A lot of what you are looking for is available from Railfonts.com already.

And, yes, I have done two private name logo fonts for tank cars and if I did one for hoppers, it would look a lot like the ones I did for Tank cars.
