LTV Steel/Northshore Mining Route Progress

I've been working on this route for a while now. It includes The Erie Mining Co./LTV Steel Railroad (depending on the era), and Nothshore Mining's rail line in Northeast Minnesota. LTV is set sometime before 1994, when the Dunka Branch was abandoned. Northshore is set in the present day, as the second track was removed beyond milepost 25, probably in the early '90s.

Track is done, but a slight rework of Taconite Harbor may be necessary. Mileposts are in, along with most of the few roads there are. Below is a screenshot of each: a loaded Northshore train passing under the bridge at County Road 15, and an empty LTV train crosses Cramer Road.

Hmm, Interesting. I was wondering if anyone was ever going to do a new version of the LTV route.

In your screenshots looks like there are some cross issues with the road. One spot the road is below rail and in another the road is over rail.

Those nice crossing pads you shared with me would look good on this route.

The whole crossing is on a 2% grade, so that peobably explains it. It's still early in the route project. In fact, these are about the only places with scenery, and I'll wait a few weeks until I can get up there to see the area myself before I get too carried away with it

Am interesting area of railroading, no doubt. Wish I would have paid more attention to the LTV when I used to drive past the Harbor in the late 80's/early 90's. If I was full blown back into trains then, I would have made some side trips.
