    And now I want to present a great project.

    In those times, when just started process of creation of Russian routes for MSTS, Russian MSTS fans actively used FBL3, for FBL3 was created few activitites with Soviet rolling stock. Russian users were imagine FBL3 as route in ex-USSR Middle Asia countries (Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan) or desert regions of Russia (Kalmykia or Astrakhan region).

    I was reworked activity "Unseen circumstances" by Roman Rogachov aka FOG, this activity I imagine as movie or TV-series, maybe it will be interesting for users! Plot of activity happens in the Soviet Union in 1980s.

    Morning in Fort Fairfax (I had an idea - rename stations to Russian languge, but I did not rename to avoid confusion), our locomotive crew comes to work:


    Our locomotive - 2ТЭ10Л (2TE10L) №1351, 3000 horsepower per unit, in 1961-1977 were made 3621 double locos (7242 units). In our train 62 cars (but two cars are 16-wheeled), length of train is 900 meters, weight is 3200 tonnes:


    Old locomotive crew: "Locomotive is servicebale, good way!"
    Our engineer: "Goodbye!"


    Our train waits departure, on the neighboring track - locomotive 2ТЭ10В (2TE10V) with hoppers with chark and pellets. 2TE10V it's a almost the same 2TE10L, but with other cab and bogies, in 1974-1981 were made 1581 locos (3162 units):



    Fort Fairfax signalman: "Engineer of train №2771ВМ Shilov on the 3th track! Output signal is green, I allow departure. Signalman Niyazov."

    Old freight cars with switcher ТЭМ2 (TEM2) - 1200 horsepower, 6219 locos were made in 1960-1984, it's a evolution of ALCO RSD-1:





    Hungarian commuter DMU Д1 (D1), in 1964-1988 605 trains were delivered to USSR:

    From Thomas Canyon rode out small clay train with one unit of diesel locomotive ТЭ3 (TE3) - most popular Soviet diesel locomotive, in 1953-1973 were made 6808 double locos (13617 units). TE3 uses diesel engine 2Д100, 2000 horsepower, prototype - American diesel engine Fairbanks-Morse 38D8⅛, this engine uses on the some American transport vessels, who came to USSR. Engine 10Д100 on the 2TE10 series locos is more powerful version of 2Д100, large quantity of Soviet diesel locos are "Soviet Fairbanks-Morse". A few dozens of TE3 stiil uses in formerly USSR:

    2ТЭ116 (2ТЕ116) - Soviet freight diesel locomotive (3060 horsepower per unit), in 1971-2007 were built 1745 double locos (3490 units), Unlike 2TE10 locos, 2TE116 equipped the diesel engine 5Д49 originally developed in the USSR for diesel locos, 2Д100 and 10Д100 are opposed-piston two-storke engine, Д49 is four-storke engine.
