    Default TSW Screenshot Thread

I can't see a thread already started for our screenshots, so, I decided to create one. Everyone is welcome, let's see you all enjoying Train Sim World, any route and locomotives/trains, or, just wandering around looking at the lovely scenery.

EDIT: There is a limit of 5 screenshots per post apparently, looks like I will be doing a lot of posting, then!

    Cheerz. Steve.

These are from GWR, Paddington Station out to Old Oak Common Maintenance Depot and then Acton Station.

    Thank you Mike.

Just enjoyed pottering about at Holbeck MPD, putting a 47 onto the fuel pump, etc, for a little while. Pity we are restricted to internal movements all the time in these depots and yards, I keep ''spading'' because we aren't allowed to go a few feet beyond a ground frame to switch junctions, I just can't understand the logic begind DTG's thinking on this issue, it spoils the game in my eyes.

    Lovely screenies again Steve.

Lack of real functionality, is a DTG trademark buddy.

It's the Tees Valley Line Mike, set in 1989 Railfreight Trainload Sectorisation, I personally don't think it's as good as NTP to be honest, and DTG have made quite a few areas of the route undriveable, you can't even access them walking, so, I wasn't very chuffed with that, the 37/5 isn't as good as it could be, the 08 Gronk is OK, it's the same as this one in NTP, so I'll stick to that route for the time being, I am more familiar with Yorkshire than Tees-side.

Thank you Steve, i will just get the freight pack then to go with my NTP. Which i do not know much about being a western region grease monkey. But i do really like it, i find it much better than the modern era Paddington - Reading.

I re-installed Steam and TSW, but now the damn thing won't run. Keeps telling me it needs DirectX Runtime, but i ran the DirectX install from the Steam folder provided and still no good. My Win10 + DirectX 12 is right up to date. Never come across this problem before with Steam games. Been searching online for a solution for over an hour and nothing.

Thanks again Steve, i appreciate the further info.

    Cheers,

    Mike.

    I agree completely, Steve.

The lack of freedom in this game is what led me to quietly push it into the background.

Steve sorry to go back to this old post. But i thought the route had main line working, as well as yards buddy ?

About 10 minutes ago i was going to buy this route and the new 08 and 40 freight pack for the Northern Trans Pennine route.

But as i think you own both. I thought i would ask you about the quality of the loco models.

I have the NTP route and i really like that, so a freight addon would be a nice enhancement.

Plus when did the Class 52 get released, i must have missed that.

    Cheers,

    Mike.

The new Trans-Pennine route featuring a Class 47 as it winds its way out of Leeds on a Manchester bound express.
