Red face KLW Norfolk Southern Mega Pack Rolling Stock File!

Good Morning! I would like to know does anyone on here still have the KLW Norfolk Southern Mega Pack Rolling Stock File and can send it to me? I need it for an activity pack I have downloaded and know it is a big file and is no longer available anymore just the locomotives are from the pack. I need this file very much! Please let me know about this. Thanks A Lot! Much Appreciated!

Sorry, mate, but the file now available contains the locomotives only. Earlier this year, I, too, was looking for the full rolling stock version!

@FireEngine : As you have the activity pack, you will know what rolling stock is required - can you not use ConBuilder to replace it with similar stock you have (or is available elsewhere)?

    Cheers,
    Ged

I too was going to suggest going to Kurt Kaminer's website...betcha could email him also and ask about what cars were included with that pack...any chance there is a Consist file(s) that might give a clue as well...Bill

Kurt hasn't logged in for many, many months. You might try a PM and maybe that will send an alert to his email.

What stock was included? Does anyone have the consists and if so do these throw any light on the type of wagons? Was there anything unavailable from the library?

Wow that's quite a stock list!

As Ged suggests in post #3 you could now create your own stock pack and consists? If the activity pack is a good one that's surely worth the effort.

Just out of idle interest I checked the library and models of all those types of cars are available to download. Many actually in the Road names above. I also note that Kurt's copyright claim is dated 2004 so many of the models in the library will be based on newer models? That's before we start looking at issues like physics, MSTS/OR use etc. etc. Kurt's loco's are still available and an excellent set by SLI (The Horseshoe Curve stock pack) is still available (just?) in the SLI discontinued packs.

Obviously if Kurt made these available it would be an easy solution but with NS packs available from SLI/TS and MLT together with the freeware freight stock in the library I'd be creating your own "parallel" consists to substitute for Kurt's stuff which is currently unavailable?

So often on the forums folk become obsessed with stuff that's no longer available. That's often because the folk that created it left the scene, created something better and or just withdrew their older models.
