    Thanks for noting there is an error in the center of gravity line in the loaded 55ton file. Here is the corrected file.

    Hi Christopher,

    This is a PRR 40 footer I modeled after a set of plans I found in MR from the 70's...

    I looked at some of the 50 footers as well - the design seems very similar - as if all I need to do is stretch the car in the center for another 10 feet...

    What inspired this - is I want some more varied flatcar loads - I've been fascinated by the older lumber loads where they build wooden frames around the lumber to hold it in place - seems to add a great deal of visual interest - I also have some images of early bulkhead frames they slapped on top of standard flat cars as well for pulpwood loads - and I want a D8 Caterpillar - LOL... Not sure if this car is appropriate for all that but we'll see...
